Quad-City Times Letter: I'm writing in support of Mike Matson for mayor of Davenport.

Mike has significant positive experience as a manager of people. He has served our country as a member of the Armed Forces, reaching the rank of Sgt. Major. He has also served on the Davenport City Council for 12 years and has been elected mayor two times.

Mayor Matson has been instrumental in creating many jobs and most recently emphasized improving our infrastructure, i.e.. streets, sewers and parks.

I believe it's time to stop our "Monday morning quarterbacking" on such issues as the building collapse and allow the appropriate entities to sort out those issues.

Mike Matson is the right person to continue as our mayor. He has my vote.
